I used WD-40 to remove rust from the door frame of my bathroom. Before using it, the rust appeared sharp and seemed to spread. So, I sprayed WD-40, and the yellow rust came off, leaving a smooth surface. This prevented the rust from continuing to spread and damaging the door frame.
